The former residence of the kings of France is today one of the most prestigious museum in the world. Follow me for a Guided tour in order to familiarize you with the masterpieces on exhibition.
In particular the collection of Greek sculptures or the gallery of Italian painters where you will be able to admire the works of Leonardo Da Vinci, Raphael …
We will continue our Guided tour with the gallery of the painters of the XIXth century French School: the works of Jacques Louis David, Ingres, Delacroix and Gericault.
We will not part without admiring the beautiful Marly Court and XVIIth century works of art.

Formerly a railway station it is now a museum dedicated to the second half of the XIXth century.
The large clock of the station is still there in the central alley but the trains have made room for exceptional works of arts.
In the course of our visit we will discover the masterpieces of Impressionists artist such as Monet, Manet, Degas, Marie Cassat …
The museum also presents other artistic movements: the Barbizon school, realism, and Van Gogh` s unique style.
We will also discover the sculptors Carpeaux and Rodin.

At 77 rue de Varenne a few steps from the Invalids Dome the thrilling history of the hotel de Biron , built between 1728 and 1730, will be revealed to you.
This private mansion was commissioned by Abraham Peyrenc de Marac, a wigmaker enriched by speculation on paper money.
In 1908, the sculptor Rodin established himself and in the succession of parlours piled up his works, covered the walls with drawings and palced in the park his Greco-roman antiques sculptures.
It was open as a museum in 1919
I propose to share with you this homely and moving visit where the artist reveals himself and presents us some of his most beautiful treasures: The Thinker, The Kiss, The Gate of Inferno …

This sumptuous mansion of the second empire is located on Boulevard Haussmann, a street named after the XIXth century Prefect who re-shaped Paris, ( Baron Haussmann).
Edouard Andre, was the wealthy heir of a representative member of the protestant banking community of Paris. After the end of his career in Napoleon III army he dedicated himself to his only passion: his art collection comprising French masterpieces of the XVIIIth such as Chardin, Fragonard, Nattier … the Dutch XVIIth century paintings with Rembrandt, Hals, Rubens. Late in life Edouard Andre was transformed when he wed Nelly Jacquemart , a young catholic artist, who though of modest origins belonged to the orleanist society. This untypical marriage will be cemented by their common passion for art and thanks to Nelly Jacquemart the original collection will be enriched by many paintings of the Italian renaissance.
We will also further explore their universe and their love of art when going through the winter garden, the ballroom, the smoking-room …

This museum is located in the heart of the Marais district a few blocks away from “ Place des Vosges”. This visit will take you on a fabulous journey in the history of Paris.
The museum is established in two famous mansions of the XVIth and XVIIth centuries: the hotel Carnavalet and the hotel Le Pelletier de Saint Fargeau.
There, you will learn about the history of the ancient Parisiis, their first abodes, their way of life.
Do you enjoy plots, intrigue? you will meet with the Queen mother Catherine of Medicis and her sons who in the XVIth century contented for power with the Guise family .
In the apartment where Madame de Sevigne lived for 17 years I shall relate the fascinating life of this great Lady and some peripeties of the Court in the XVIIth century.
We will evoke the XVIIIth century and the forerunner signs of the revolution and the storming of the Bastille.
We will linger in the revolution period by visiting a reconstitution of the room of Queen Marie Antoinette in the Temple prison and the homely belongings of the royal family during its imprisonment.

Visit the Nissim de Camondo museum with a guideNissim de Camondo museum

This visit will cover the exceptional collection of furniture and objets d`art of the French XVIIIth century.
Located in the 8th district in the vicinity of the park Monceau it was opened in 1936.
It is a very beautiful private mansion which has been preserved in the same state as it was when inhabited at the beginning of the XXth century.
It was built in 1912 by Rene Sergent for Moise de Camondo who spent his fortune to embellish this residence worthy of the other XVIIIth century mansions that can be admired along the Faubourg Saint Germain.
Moise de Comodo bequeathed his estate to France and the museum was named from his son Nissim an army officer who died in 1917.

Visit of the Marmottan-Monet museumMarmottan-Monet museum

Dedicated to the first Empire the museum became with the passing of time one of the high places of the Impressionism.
We will discover the main stages of the painter Claude Monet but also remarkable works from Caillebotte, Pissarro, Renoir, Berthe Morisot.
Originally a hunting lodge it was purchased in 1882 by Jules Marmottan. The original residence was enlarged by his son Paul in view of displaying the paintings, bronze sculptures, furniture from the Napoleon’s era that you can now admire.

Visit of the Cluny museumThe Cluny museum

It is in the latin quarter that in 1843 the personal collection of the enlightened art amateur Alexandre of the Sommerard became the bequest of the Paris medieval museum. Then, the frameworks of the ancient Hotel of Cluny, rebuilt in the XIIIth century by the Abbot Jacques of Amboise in the late gothic style became the jewel-box of this outstanding collection comprising 23000 objets of art (of which a tenth is exhibited). One can see many wood sculptures or stones from the XIth to the XIIIth centuries, 70 tapestries including the Lady with the Unicorn, 50 illuminations, 300 ivories, stained glass …
